Making a Difference in Our Communities

As part of our commitment to leading by example, InnSight believes in doing our part to strengthen the communities in which we live. Our employees and associates are encouraged to make a difference in our communities, whether that means helping to raise funds for a local charity, putting in the labor for a good cause, or hosting one-of-a-kind events.

InnSight HMG is proud to participate in the following national and local community efforts:

Relay for Life
An official charity of the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life is a unique overnight event in which teams commit to run or walk, relay-style, for up to 24 hours. Ceremonies include a Survivor Lap, Caregiver Lap and a Luminaria and Candle Lighting Ceremony to honor passed loved ones. More than 3.5 million people worldwide join the Relay for Life every year. InnSight associates in the Eugene / Springfield, Oregon area have participated in the annual Relay for Life since 2008, raising money for this important cause.

Children’s Miracle Network
The Children’s Miracle Network was founded with a goal of providing more and better resources for children’s hospitals, and today it is one of North America’s leading children’s charities. Funds and gift donations received by CMN are distributed back to the children’s hospitals in the communities in which they are received. The CMN has partnered with dozens of children’s hospitals and treatment facilities throughout the Northwest, including the Asante Foundation in Medford, Oregon. InnSight associates have contributed handmade blankets and raised funds for the Children’s Miracle Network.

Food for Lane County
InnSight-managed hotels have donated food and necessities to the Food for Lane County organization since 2009. Food for Lane County is a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank dedicated to eliminating hunger in Lane County, Oregon. Programs include preparing emergency food boxes, shelters, meal sites, rehabilitation facilities, nutrition education and community gardens.
