COVID-19 Practices

 Mereté acted quickly to ensure the safety of our guests and associates when COVID-19 began to affect the hospitality industry and we continue to apply rigorous safety and hygiene standards at our hotels.  Explore our policies and procedures to see how our teams have adapted during this challenging time.

 

COVID-19 Overview of Policies and Procedures

HAND HYGIENE AND ETIQUETTE 

Hand sanitizer stations are conveniently located at high guest touch points – Front Desk, Elevators, and Meeting Space entrances.  

 Increased and documented training with associates on the steps, duration, frequency, and requirements for hand sanitization. This includes use of proper soap and steps to thoroughly wash hands or use of hand sanitizer 

 HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES 

Housekeeping services are offered to guests on a request only basis determined at check-in or upon request during the stay. For extended stays, housekeeping services are scheduled in advance a minimum of once per week. All hotels adhere to enhanced brand standards and have enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols with emphasis on high-touch items 

ENHANCED TRAINING  

Our associates have participated in their hotel brand’s uniquely designed training program which provides enhanced brand training and brand cleaning guidelines. Learn more: MarriottIHGHiltonHyattWyndhamChoice 

FACE COVERINGS  

All guests, associates and anyone entering the building are required to wear a face covering. Complimentary disposable face coverings are available at the front desk 

EMPLOYEE TEMPERATURE CHECKS 

All employees must check their body temperature and fill out a symptom check questionnaire prior to work.  

PHYSICAL DISTANCING 

All hotels have plexiglass installed across the reception desks. Our hotel teams have implemented actions to promote physical distancing in public spaces (lobby, elevator, restrooms, etc.), meetings and the hotel lobby including signage and staff monitoring of spaces where people are more likely to gather.  

FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICES 

For hotels with food and beverage services, we offer grab and go options, pre-ordering and/or in room delivery. Service will vary by location.
