Our new Springhill Suites by Marriott Medford Airport is officially open as of Nov. 3, 2022. Ms. Shannon Johnson, with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and recipient of Hotel Management Magazine’s General Managers to Watch 2020, has been selected to be the General Manager of this hotel.

Liz Dahlager, Executive Vice President of Mereté Hotel Management is accepted into the 2022-23 Cohort of Castell’s Elevate Program. Castell is an AHLA Foundation Project dedicated to the advancement of women to the highest levels within the hospitality industry. Their annual Elevate Program is unique as its focus is to elevate women in the industry with 12+ years of experience into more leadership roles.

Nigel Francisco will be joining the company as CFO effective June 6, 2022.

Liz Dahlager, promoted to Executive Vice President Jan. 1, 2022. As Executive Vice President, Ms. Dahlager will continue to oversee sales, marketing and strategic partnerships. In her new role her responsibilities will be expanded to include hotel operations and human resources. Marissa Ruf was named Corporate Director of Sales for Mereté.
